In their place, folk trio LA KEJOCA will perform in the country focus. At the latest since their Freedom album “Libertad”, Trio La Kejoca is one of the outstanding, handmade folk music figures in Germany. “Libertad” (2022) was even awarded the prize of the German Schallplattenkritik. The trio surprises with each piece and enchants with three-part a cappella vocals interwoven with guitar, bass, violin, whistle, Irish bouzouki and bodhran. Traditional, often political, texts merge with their own, new melodies. In Rudolstadt they are supported by Rolf Wagels (Bodhran) and Jorg Frose (multi-instrumentalist).
