An eight piece collective from Ghanaian capital Accra who has one mission only: Highlife!

Santrofi give an energetic update to that influential style and celebrate it in all its forms: Afro-Cuban rhythm, Calypso, the fast-paced pulse of 70s dance-guitar, the other-worldly sound of Highlife funk, or polyrhythmic beats and melodies of Afrobeat – they all sound like newly invented (at least almost) and set the audience on fire. When Santrofi released their debut in 2020 it climbed right to the top oft he World Music Charts.
