Line up 2019: LA-33

High-speed salsa dura inspired by jazz, ska and the 70s New York sound have made this collective one of the top acts from Latin America. It all began in a big and antique building placed in Teusaquillo Bogotá neighborhood in the 33st street. Here the two brothers Sergio und Santiago Mejia gathered some friends to found a band. Three years later in 2004 they cut a dash when making Henry Mancini’s „Pink Panther“ dance to Latin beats: „La Pantera Mambo“ was created. Meanwhile after five album releases  they are slowing down their pace, but the brass section –and not only that- is still a hot one.
