Four exile musicians from Iran living in Germany form this ensemble. Individually they all were raised with traditional Persian music – albeit in different regions of the country thus also with different rhythms and melodies. Each is pursuing her own path between neo-trad, jazz, film music, electro-acoustic music and other fusions. At Rudolstadt they will perform a more tradition-oriented repertoire spiced by a handful of their own compositions and improvisations. And they will inform in a talk (Woman. Life. Freedom.) about the current situation of women and artists in Iran.
