For 20 years, 5/8erl in Ehr'n has been synonymous with WIENER SOUL. A genre that they invented themselves, combining groove and dialect with elements of jazz and Viennese songs (Wienerlied). It started as an insider tip and, at the latest with ‘Badeschluss’, became the collective summer feeling of an entire city. Because Vienna made the melancholic song the charming finale to its outdoor swimming pools.

The band sings about small everyday joys as well as big emotions. Love, politics, ambiguous, flattering or mischievous – their repertoire ranges widely between ballads and comical burlesque.
