Jugendfolkorchester

Jugendfolkorchester With bagpipes, guitars, violins, accordions and much more, 40 young musicians between the ages of 12 and 25 from all over Germany are bringing a tremendous sound to the stage.  Under the direction of Gudrun Walther, Sabrina Palm, Jürgen Treyz and Alex Froitzheim, the newly founded Youth Folk Orchestra performs a programme that ranges from thrilling dance melodies from Franconia to emigrant songs from the 19th century Eifel. After a long preparatory phase including rehearsal camp, the time at the Rudolstadt-Festival is finally ripe for the premiere with two concerts.
