Rooted in traditional folk music, Banter transcends genre boundaries, winning over both audiences and critics. Banter embodies its name by bringing a friendly, playful feel to their performances. Praised by composer and folk musician Ralph McTell as “absolutely fantastic!”, since their formation in 2015 Banter have appeared at major British festivals such as Glastonbury, the Cambridge Folk Festival and Towersey Festival, and also performed across Europe.
