Folk-jazz inspired by the Negev desert of southern Israel, Eastern culture and experimental music. Tau – meaning “(morning) dew” in German – is a symbol of renewal and viability, in this case of this Israeli-German quintet’s revitalisation of ancient sounds and organic modal music for culturally scorched societies.
