Ramsch & Rosen
AUTWide arcs, delicate nuances, powerful flow. Their pieces seem as though they are painting landscapes. Violin, trumpet and voice create an intimate sound rooted in Austrian folk music yet imbued with the spirit of the present. Julia Lacherstorfer and Simon Zöchbauer have a deep connection to tradition, but they allow it to transform and build bridges to diverse styles. In addition to Ramsch & Rosen, the two also influence the Austrian music scene through other projects: Julia with ALMA and Simon with Federspiel, together they also run the „wellenklænge“ festival in Lunz am See, and many more. Their musical skill is impressive, their sensitivity lifts the soul.
