Liederjan
Germany's (almost) longest-serving German folk band is celebrating its birthday: ‘We've now completed almost fifty years of Liederjan! Wow!’, the band writes on their website. ‘We've had many highs and a few lows. Every now and then we had a change of the so-called third man on the left side of the stage as seen from the audience. It was always a new inspiration that gave rise to a new Liederjan facet.’ The anniversary will be celebrated in Rudolstadt in the form of a discussion with current and past members of the group. They will come together: Jörg Ermisch, Jochen Wiegandt, Rainer Prüss and Wolfgang Rieck. There will also be a short performance by the current Liederjan trio. The online magazine folker.world says: ‘Take care and thanks for the fish!’
