Joce Reyome puts her heart into every note. She has a voice that is both warm and raw, and a keen sense of atmosphere. This allows her to create a touching closeness with the audience. Her music draws on classic blues roots, but leaves enough room for soul, Americana and a contemporary sound. Inspiration from Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and Tracy Chapman shines through, but thanks to her own strong personality and narrative power, Joce avoids all retro clichés.

She grew up in Massachusetts and now lives in Canada. As a singer and session musician, she has accompanied many renowned acts. Last year, the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, a springboard for blues talent, gave her solo career a boost. She won in the Solo/Duo category.
