Inter-be-ing
DEUEye contact is one of the most intimate forms of human interaction. Nevertheless, most of us avoid direct eye contact in the communication process and rely primarily on language skills and intellect. The performance inter-be-ing from Leipzig attempts to use eye contact, which is so important for us humans, for its musical improvisation: In order to allow the audience to participate in the composition, the musicians and the audience face each other. While eye contact is maintained, the music is created in real time, inspired by the two-way connection.
