Berlin-based singer and composer Ganna Gryniva is a tinkerer of sound: she combines Ukrainian folklore with jazz, improvised and experimental, sometimes electronic music. Sometimes she does this solo, sometimes with her experienced quintet. She casually sends elements of her voice through her self-created keyboard. Ganna emigrated from Ukraine to Germany with her parents in 2002, studied philosophy in Leipzig and jazz in Weimar before embarking on her remarkable journey and travelling through various musical landscapes, always inspired by her cultural roots. She now performs all over Europe.
