Eabhal
SCOFor the past ten years, the quintet Eabhal has been one of the most popular bands in Scotland. However, they have rarely ventured beyond its borders, so their performance in Rudolstadt is a rare opportunity to see them outside of Scotland. The band members hail from the west of the country and came together while living on South Uist, the second-largest island in the Outer Hebrides. The music of that place continues to shape the band’s sound to this day, focusing on togetherness and connection with the people, land and language. Their repertoire of re-imagined Gaelic and English songs and tunes – and originals in those traditions – will thrill Rudolstadt audiences.
