The ‘supergroup of Bavarian folk songwriting’ – that’s what a respected German newspaper (Süddeutsche Zeitung) called them once. Only to then clarify that simplicity suits them much better. Which is true. Even though they have made music history in their own way: cabaret artist, musician and poet Josef Brustmann has always shaken up tradition with the utmost respect and the greatest possible rebelliousness. Benni Schäfer and Sebastian Horn are otherwise on the road with Dreiviertelblut (among other projects), whose ‘folklore-free folk music’ breaks all boundaries. Together now they have dedicating themselves to perform own songs as well as classics. Their joined forces hold a promise: a concert full of depth and soul, as profound as it is uplifting; powerful, heartfelt, authentic.
