This vocal ensemble traverses eras and moods through its songs. It tells stories that make you laugh and cry, of what once was and what remains. The four Burgenland Croats live in Vienna and Bratislava, and this diversity of their lives is reflected in their music. They sing in the Krowodn dialect, but also in the Viennese dialect. Alongside traditional songs from Burgenland and vocal reinterpretations of their very own Krowodnrock, the quartet performs poetry set to music. At times the voices rise powerfully, at others they seem barely to touch. And in doing so, they also evoke memories of the one who is missing: their former fifth singer and co-founder of the band, ‘Wilček’, Willi Resetarits. He passed away in 2022.
