“We are tradition in motion and pride in every dance!!” The Basaseachi Ballet Folklórico was founded by Mexican exiles in Denver, Colorado. Their drive is preserving and promoting Mexico’s rich cultural heritage at home and abroad In doing so, the group is dedicated not only to artistic quality, but also to imparting values and fostering the social development of young people through dance: it aims to shape empathetic and passionate individuals and to strengthen their values and personal growth through folklore. The ensemble has received numerous awards, including for best dance performance, best dancers, best costumes and for artistic excellence at both national and international levels.
