AltBadSeer Musi hails from the Salzkammergut and brings a special tradition with them from there: Styrian and country dances, accompanied by singing and rhythmic clapping. These 'Pasch' dances are popular at all kinds of social gatherings, such as weddings, alpine and street festivals, pubs and private parties. The ensemble embodies the musical traditions that are still an integral part of everyday life in the region where AltBadSeer Musi comes from: the three municipalities of Ausseerland – Altaussee, Bad Aussee and Grundlsee. The sextet is well known throughout the region, and you can be sure to meet someone from the ensemble there whenever Styrian music is needed.
