Almir Mešković & Daniel Lazar
BIH | ROUOnce upon a time, there were two great virtuosos who had fled from both sides of a war. They met in Norway and developed a new, pan-Balkan repertoire: the Bosnian accordionist Mešković and the Romanian-Serbian violinist Daniel Lazar. Their first album together is called ‘Family Beyond Blood’. These are poetic, dance-like, sometimes melancholic original compositions that show their Balkan roots - with a Scandinavian twist. Two sensitive, highly creative musicians and composers who are now bringing their respective solo careers together as a duo. And when their temperament gets the better of them, the stage shakes.
