Agnes Palmisano
AUT‘When words fail, the Dudeln begins,’ says Agnes Palmisano. She is the leading performer of the Viennese Dudler, a hybrid form of Alpine yodelling and coloratura singing. The genre is so unique and distinctive in its vocal facets that it has been designated an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. The singer has had a deep connection to yodelling for more than 20 years. But with her classically trained voice, she also moves colourfully in other genres such as couplet and chanson.
