Thüringer Folkloretanz-Ensemble Rudolstadt e.V. (DEU)True to our venerable custom, Rudolstadt’s own local folk dance ensemble will officially cut the ribbon at 18:00 on Friday in the market square. On Friday evening they open with local dance (Dance in the Valepp) and a suite of Cuban tunes. On Saturday and Sunday, all 135 dancers who make up the children’s, youth and adult ensembles will give a display of their skills with a presentation of traditional folkloristic and modern show dances.
