Magnus Kaindl & Landlerdelirium (DEU)The Landler used to be an integral part of every Alpine festival. It’s a dance that’s easy to learn, usually in triple time and with simple steps. This lightness is reflected in the members of the band Landlerdelirium. They draw on a rich treasure trove of traditional dance elements and revitalize these songs, some of which haven’t been heard for centuries. In addition, Magnus Kaindl demonstrates various holds, turns and arm movements that can be used in various dances – and it’s hard to resist! Landlerdelirium are the current holders of the City of Munich’s Folk Culture Innovation Award.
