Julian Marley (JAM)
Julian Marley (JAM)Julian Marley is carving a unique path in the world of reggae, stepping out from the shadow of his legendary father, Bob Marley, to make his own mark. He won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2024 for his album Colours of Royal. Back in 2010, his album Awake was nominated for the same accolade. Born Julian Ricardo Marley in London in 1975, he released his first album Uprising in 1989, the title becoming the name of his band. Beyond his music, Julian is a vocal advocate for the legalization of cannabis as well as for peace and love, often reinterpreting his father’s iconic tracks with a modern twist by infusing them with elements of hip-hop and R&B. He will grace the stage at our opening concert in 2024.
